Great Portraits Start With the Right Photos

Your photos are how we get to know your pet.

You don’t need professional photography — clear, natural photos that show their true features, colors, and personality are what help us most.

A Quick Photo Checklist,For the best result, try to send photos that are:

Best photo types

• Clear and in focus
• Taken in natural daylight
• Free from filters or color effects
• Taken near your pet’s eye level
• Showing their true fur color and markings
• Taken from more than one angle

Only Have Older Photos?

That’s completely okay.

If your pet is no longer with you, or you only have older or imperfect photos, please send us everything you have.

Different photographs can often help us understand different parts of your pet — one may show the eyes best, another the markings, and another the expression you remember most.

We’ll help you choose the strongest reference before we begin.
